Frequently Asked Questions

My car isn’t a show car, can I still bring it?
YOU BET!  We have added a WIP/Driver class just for those cars!  As long as it can drive under it’s own power, BRING IT!!  It doesn’t matter if it’s a concourse level show car, or a beat up daily driver.  We have classes for all and want to see them on the show field!  You may also choose the “Do Not Judge” option if you would like your car on the show field, but not worry about the judging process.

Where do I go to register?
Walk through the lobby, past the check-in desk, make a right and snake your way down each hallway, past the bathrooms you will make one more right turn and the first room will be registration.

After Registration, what is next?
You will need to take your registration card to your Firebird and drive around to the North side of the hotel to the Tech Line where you will open up your car to have a Trans Am Nationals staff member decide what class your car fits in.  Once done there, continue around the hotel and park in your class (unless you tech on Friday and classes aren’t set up yet, then you may park your Firebird anywhere in the parking lot).

Where does all my registration money go?
On top of all the costs required to run a show of this size (lights, DJ, portable toilets, security, awards, room rental, etc), The Trans Am Nationals is a show that all proceeds go to A Special Wish Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children under the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder.  The 2022 show raised over $19,000 to donate!  So the more we raise in registrations, donations, sponsors, and auctions – the more we can help out the children.

Where can I find important information about the show?
*Important* When you go through registration, you will sign for a packet.  Inside that packet is a program that lists all kinds of information about judging, seminars, and other important show info. Please take a few minutes to read through this.

Do I have to drive my car to go eat or pick up supplies?
No!  There are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as a new walkway over the I-675 highway to Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart if you need supplies.

After the show is over, how do I get a copy of my judging sheet?
Send an email to cheryl@tacadcinc.com asking for your sheet, be sure to list your car number and class you were in.
